Message from the Chief:

On behalf of the Rochester Police Department, I welcome you to our website! This website give our residents and guests access to current crime trends, different programs and resources we can provide, as wells as information about the dedicated men and women that serve our community.

As the Chief of Police, I am truly honored to serve the Village of Rochester and work alongside our current staff,  volunteers and citizens. We take pride in our officers being well-trained and professional, upholding traditions in excellence. We will continue to serve all people with respect, fairness and compassion. We also are very proud of our Volunteers in Police Service members or “VIPS” program, Pink Patch Program, Cops for Kids, and Santa's ELFs.

Over the years, we have been humbled by the support we have received from the residents of Rochester. We understand that having a strong partnership with our community is essential to ensuring the Village of Rochester continues to be a safe environment for all. We are firm believers in the community policing philosophy, and we will continue to explore ways to strengthen our partnership.

If you need to reach me, or just want to stop by, please do not hesitate to do so. My door is always open.
